From Colonial UNESCO-protected cities, flanked by enormous volcanoes, to smaller colonial towns whose charm you feel from the outset, this trip exposes you to the best of Central America. Mayan ruins will remind you how Indiana Jones felt, in the middle of the jungle surrounded by toucans, macaws and monkeys! Volcanoes dominate the region, though, and we’ll go on more than a few volcano hikes, absorb a tonne of culture and give that bottle of rum a nudge, too.
