This trip is for those who love to hike in the mountains. The route takes you into the back countries of the Chilliwack River and Manning Park, some of the most scenic and enjoyable hiking options near Vancouver. You’ll have your choice of hiking challenge with the range of options and degrees of difficulty available on this itinerary.
The trip is for those who didn’t get enough back-country experience on our longer trips with West Adventures, and is designed to be added to the end of any of those trips. Thus, it begins on Saturdays and ends on Wednesdays. But it can also stand as a short trip on its own.
It can be booked either as a self-drive trip or escorted by one of our driver/guides with a minimum of two clients. Either way, the price includes the vehicle, which will be an economy rental car. If escorted, the driver/guide will also serve as your cook. The trip includes tents, air mattresses and all equipment and supplies needed for camping and cooking. You will need to bring only your own sleeping bag, or you may rent one from West Adventures.
